Pros

Benefits are good. Really nothing else.

Cons

I'm a huge believer that unlimited PTO is a scam thanks to Flywheel. People here really don't take time off and when they do, they're actually working. My boss was slacking me from his honeymoon. This might seem harsh, but this was the worst place I've ever worked. Expectations are just way too high, and they claim to pay you a fair market rate, but the salary doesn't come near matching the work load of a 12 hour day. Whenever this was brought up in meetings with upper management, they would get really gas-lighty and say "talk to your manager" or "we pay fair market value" or "we're hiring more people to match the work load" but I saw no improvements. These people no ZERO boundaries. I would get messages late into the night every single week day, and sometimes on weekends. No one told me I was expected to be working on Thanksgiving? Found that out right before. My manager left when I did, but he was incredibly unprofessional, mean, would say things about other employees to me that made me uncomfortable, and offered me nothing constructive over my tenure. He almost always canceled our 1 on on 1's and many of our planned trainings never happened. The overall training as a new hire was also really bad. It was very surface level and it was clear everyone running the meetings was overworked and didn't want to be doing it. 100% the most toxic place I've ever worked. Don't work here.

Pros

There are still great, intelligent people here that you can learn from, but they are dwindling as the mass exodus continues.

Cons

Benefits: Omnicom has been slashing benefits left and right since the acquisition, effectively giving all legacy Flywheel employees a paycut. Employee healthcare costs went up 100%, employer HSA contributions got cut by 50%, unlimited PTO revoked, and 401K matching is no longer guaranteed and comes 7-8 months after the end of the year (if it even comes at all). Year-end compensation and performance reviews always get pushed back 4-6 months. Flywheel use to be an exciting and fun company to work for. That's all gone and now all that remains is an unrelenting workload that never ceases no matter how many nights and weekends you work. I wouldn't take a job here unless you're desperate.
