Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback! We always love hearing positive experiences, and it's great to hear you enjoy our company culture, your teammates, and the work-life balance here at Flywheel. We understand that multiple mergers and acquisitions have temporarily caused some instability in working dynamics. Transitions of this nature can be challenging and sometimes lead to difficult decisions. We recognize the strain this has placed on our teams, and we’ve taken steps to stabilize and support our workforce through these changes. We’re actively restructuring our teams to ensure a more balanced distribution of responsibilities and are continually evaluating our staffing needs. Our senior leadership team welcomes feedback over Slack, so we encourage you to reach out to discuss the goals of our engineering function to ensure the work you do day-to-day feels purposeful. Once again, we thank you for your honest feedback and continued support!

Pros

There are still great, intelligent people here that you can learn from, but they are dwindling as the mass exodus continues.

Cons

Benefits: Omnicom has been slashing benefits left and right since the acquisition, effectively giving all legacy Flywheel employees a paycut. Employee healthcare costs went up 100%, employer HSA contributions got cut by 50%, unlimited PTO revoked, and 401K matching is no longer guaranteed and comes 7-8 months after the end of the year (if it even comes at all). Year-end compensation and performance reviews always get pushed back 4-6 months. Flywheel use to be an exciting and fun company to work for. That's all gone and now all that remains is an unrelenting workload that never ceases no matter how many nights and weekends you work. I wouldn't take a job here unless you're desperate.
