Pros

Flexible PTO (No sick days so 21 days are given at the start of each fiscal year) Work from home (Given after 1 year of employment)

Cons

Where do I begin? Foodbuy is a division of Compass Group and accounts for the majority of their revenue; however, the way Foodbuy structure their contracts makes it easy for them to double dip and collect additional money from their suppliers. There's really no real structure at the company meaning a lot of busy work and managers who make things up as they go and cry their way into Director level promotions. In addition, there's a lack of diversity and isn't a very warm or inviting culture. Single women are told that if they want to succeed they need to spend 40+ hours in the office. There's a great deal of nepotism - children, nieces, brother in laws will be hired before other candidates. There's also the look the other way mentality. If an employee is doing well and bringing in revenue for the company, sexual harassment claims against him will be swept under the rug. If a manager is extremely hostile to her direct reports, it's not an issue, especially if the employees are minorities. Lack of structure Data Management and systems are archaic KPI's are made up and not really in place Promotion of unqualified employees (seems like anybody and everybody can be a manager) Lack of diversity Pay increase is only 1-3% HR is only 3 people
