Most people you interact with on a day-to-day basis are pretty cool. The office is fairly attractive. There isn’t much else to say.

Direct Management - Your direct manager will probably be around 30 years old with no management training. He (the company is dominated by men) probably has not managed anyone before and doesn’t know where to start or how to handle any issue. He probably won’t follow up with requests and will be awful with delivery because he is young and needs more help. They have a lot on their plate and they aren’t ready to manage a team. They’re doing their best, but not everyone was built to manage a team. Managers are thrown into a management “boot camp” and we have no idea what is being taught in there. Upper Management - Again, dominated by men who spend their days golfing on a putting green and whispering to one another about other people. They come and go as they please, but will be the first to throw you under the bus if you leave before 5:00 pm. If you are a chosen one, you will be treated like royalty. You will get perks of being able to travel the world while “working remotely,” you will be handed leads left and right, allowing you to grow even more, you will be allowed to move and also work remotely while everyone else in sales isn’t even allowed a work from home day once a week, and you will get recognized constantly. If you can play the game right, you will go far here. Also if you are a young female and can hook up with the right person at the right time, you are set up for success at the risk of feeling dirty. This company is very incestual. Benefits - They’re okay. Instead of giving a gym stipend like most tech companies, you’re given an option to do yoga or CrossFit which is nice, but very specific. The new VP of HR is actually wonderful and had made a huge difference in the 401k match, but the healthcare plans seem to be mediocre in comparison to other companies. Pay is TERRIBLE. You will not be paid your worth. If you grow internally, you might not even get a pay raise. No work from home days if you’re in sales, but everyone else gets that option. Also, parking is limited and expensive. People Ops- Do not share your personal business or issues with anyone in HR who is not the VP unless you want any issue to be spread across the company. The girls in recruiting are unprofessional and slow and always have wine. Are you working or are you day drinking with your friends? Read the interview reviews to see more accuracy on how that team operates. Sexual Harassment - This is a huge issue for women at FWI. I can guarantee each woman here has been harassed multiple times. A training was FINALLY put into place 10+ years later, but that only informs people what they already know not to do. Something needs to be done regarding the predators in this company who are high up. CEO - He tries to be human. Make us feel valued. Look at people when they’re speaking to you and not at your phone. Please see us as humans with purpose who want to make an impact, not as replaceable bodies. Pay us our worth. VP’s are paid insane amounts of money, but if you’re in an average role, you live paycheck to paycheck. David lives a VERY privileged life and is very fortunate, so he doesn’t know what it’s like to struggle with money. Yes, he has worked hard, but we are working hard for him.
