Pros
Flexible PTO, nice co-workers, nothing else
Cons
Where do I begin…. All the good reviews on this sight are merely just HR “fluffing” what it really is, so take those with a grain of salt. If you have a few extra mins, dig back… I had high hopes when Vista came in to evolve this company into the professional workplace it needs to be in order to be successful. However, until they do some serious executive cutting (and I mean up at the top), the old ways will still remain and the employees will still be unhappy. The first few years working here was filled with sexual harassment, discrimination, and being grossly under paid. I personally had a sexual harassment claim that the HR department at the time never filed and advised me to just avoid that individual, and then the HR person I confided in left the company a few days later. I should have sued them, but that’s not who I am and thankfully I didn’t have to, I was told potentially someone else did. They still show a lot of favoritism with their employees, by giving raises to some individuals, but not others because some executives simply don’t like you. No matter the work that came with Vista coming in and changing so much, they still don’t give the people working long hours to accomplish impossible deadlines any sort of merit increase based on their dedication and hard work. Side Note: the worst team in this company is the HR department. All they do is gossip, judge other employees, and spread their judgment to other executives, ruining your reputation. It’s like highschool all over again… don’t confide in them for anything. I don’t recommend this place as a good place to work, even for the small under market salary straight out of college. I will say the management they’ve brought on from Vista have been a breath of fresh air. Until they get settled with Vista a little more and replace some C-level people, it’ll just make you unhappy, overworked and under paid. Give it a year or so, then maybe you can reconsider your application for employment.
