Pros
Warm Company Culture, the whole staff is available to help and support each other. There's always different celebrations going on, throughout the year. Bethpage allows you to be yourself and succeed in your own way. Its a place that will challenge you to be a better a representative and professional overall. You learn a lot about the background of banking: processes, lending, credit reporting, estate-ira accounts which means there is always something to learn. There's a ton of extra curricular activities to join like soccer, basketball, walk/run club, paintball we did one year, bowling, yoga, boot camp, weight watchers etc. This allows you to network and meet more teammates. You are recognized by your hard work, even the little wins.
Cons
Overall the only con is learning to be patient. The staff overall is very talented which makes you step your game up and be persistent on what you want to achieve within the company. Your Bethpage career will be based on you what you put into your work and promotions don't happen over night but realistically achievable. If you are in "busy" branch, see it as an opportunity to shine: multi-tasking, collaboration, reliability, adaptability, continuous learning and development are many key behavior traits that will help yourself become a better teammate and person overall.
