Pros
Nice work-from-home policy generally. Good vacation allowance and benefits.
Cons
This was a fantastic place to work until the Legg Mason acquisition. The company cared about employees and provided a great environment. And it was very profitable. Somehow even though Franklin acquired Legg, virtually ALL of the senior management positions have been taken by ex-Legg people. The cronyism is strong. Deadbeat LM folks keep jobs while talented Franklin people are given the boot. Legacy Franklin people are constantly in the crosshairs. If you're an older worker, you're especially dispensible. It's obvious and it's really sad. If you're a new hire -- even an incompetent one -- or ex-Legg, you're in much better shape than if you are an old Franklin employee. And if you want to survive, then you're constantly kissing ___.
