- contract based on TVöD / TVL - company culture not suitable for foreigners - witnessed systematic scientific misconduct - the possibility of doing a PhD is used as a means to bind people to the insitution and the title is given out based on sympathy not the work (exploitation of their PhDs) - institute leads that represent areas of research they have absolutely no clue about - image is the religion - very limited career possibilities within the institute - cafeteria has bad food - overly bureaucratized processes (BANF even for buying small things for 1 €) - very hierarchical, not agile
