Pros

Use to be a family based, employee based, small community hospital and nonprofit. Management cared about their staff and the care that was provided to its patients. That changed.

Cons

Upper Management no longer cares about pleasing the staff. Longevity does not matter any longer. Nor does patient satisfaction. FMH has lost multiple doctors, as well as staff recently, and care has suffered due to this. Nursing staff are overworked & underpaid. No longer an enjoyable place to work.

Good people. It feels like a family. The pay is decent.

Cons

HCA is cheap, cheap, cheap. Purposely understaffing us. Having to float to other floors to work in a position you weren't hired or trained for. Equipment and supplies are low quality.
