Pros

Hospital benefits even if you work for an ambulatory center, opportunity to change position within hospital and their ambulatory centers, 8, 10, and 12 hour shift options many places/departments

Cons

Management is so poor. If there are issues in the work place that you're facing you might as well forget about having a strong manager to assist you. Many of the mangers there are actually the problem. No standards in the process of hiring managers since likely your manager will not have a degree in management or even a degree at all...Makes for a very unprofessional and unpleasant work environment since overpowering staff rule the roost and drive good staff out. I worked at 2 of Frisbie's locations with identical outcomes. I left the organization and realized how messed up it had been there now that I have a strong manager and a healthy work environment.

Pros

There are none. frisbie as a non profit community hospital was okay. The few doctors who cared were great.

Cons

Horrible hospital to be employeed at b. HCA, I lost pay during the acquisition, the benefits were horrible (the ED and radiologist aren't even in network), poor management, high turnover, only cares about money in the end.

Pros

Use to be a family based, employee based, small community hospital and nonprofit. Management cared about their staff and the care that was provided to its patients. That changed.

Cons

Upper Management no longer cares about pleasing the staff. Longevity does not matter any longer. Nor does patient satisfaction. FMH has lost multiple doctors, as well as staff recently, and care has suffered due to this. Nursing staff are overworked & underpaid. No longer an enjoyable place to work.
