Decent Pay But Hard Work - Customer Sales Specialist Frito-Lay Employee Review

Pros

The pay is decent for an entry labor job. Employees that are doing well are left alone beside the occasional 1 with 1. Frito-lay has a lot of respect in the job field when it comes to vendors, but that means there's also a lot of responsibility to maintain that respect.

Cons

Everything is by seniority. Want a route? You have to bid on it. Want a vacation? You have to bid on it. You've been there only for a few months? Good luck on getting anything decent for a while. No breaks, no lunches, nothing. Management is able to add on to your orders, which makes it hard to keep backstock down. Lots of hours and if you're a floater, it takes a while to get a steady route so you'll have inconistent days off and random stores to work. You'll also be expected to pick up after everyone. Good luck! Want a day off due to being sick? Oops, there's never any coverage.
