Pros
Amazing Lead Tech which is incredibly hard to find, community hospital size and friendly employees, i frequently hear from patients how kind everyone is here. pleasant work environment. Respectful workload. Higher-ups act like royalty, very much a club, just power getting tossed around, but overall the hospital has a very down-to-earth, homey, real feel to it, it's not micromanaged to death by MBA's who completely miss the points and ruin everything like other places i've been. Not a corporate and sterile feeling, which i like.
Cons
they don't address complaints til people have already found a new job. even doctors, which they sometimes have a hard time finding due to location between the cities. you have to literally hand them your resignation before they suddenly can give you anything you want to stay. Lower pay than Aurora across the street, but made up for by good morale & reasonable workloads/not working you like a machine til you need surgery. We have people return here after trying Aurora. Higher-ups act like royalty, but you don't deal with them on a daily basis. Small enough hospital everyone kind of at least vaguely knows everyone.
