Pros

Well when a boat is on fire, the ones left tend to work well together otherwise benefits and pay are below par

Cons

Horrible administrators constantly looking to get the upper hand on you and screw you. They lost 7 Ortho's, 2 cardiologist, cardiac thoracic surgeon, 2 urologist and 10+ MDs in the last 3 years. Translates to tons of $ they lost due to ego and snobby attitudes!!! Imagine how much worse it is for the staff/non-MDs!!!

Pros

Leading hospital in community...but I'm sure not for long

Cons

No appreciation for employees, management plays favorites, high turn over rates for nurses. Honestly nurses work so hard for their degree to be treated the way administration treats them. The icu lost 21 nurses in a matter of 3 years. They lost a great ortho team, a great cardiologist,and a great cardiovascular surgeon due to their pride and trying to cut corners. Brag about being debt free but probably have some of the unhappiest employees

That is why we have the annual pay for performance system, employee recognition dinners, holiday dinners for employees, the shining star program, just to name a few of our employee programs.

Pros

It's a paycheck. I say that because it's good to get your foot in the door for the experience, but don't you dare consider staying there for a career.

Cons

Most management belittles you. HR will NOT help you. They fired the highest paid employees they put on furlough for COVID19 then posted their jobs to hire cheaper employees. Low pay. Administration does not care about you just the family members they hire.
