Pros

The site has a lot of dedicated hard working people to it's credit.

Cons

Really poorly managed. The site continues to make a loss, and, since the redundancies two years ago little has changed to improve anything, which is shocking. 20-30% of the people on site do most of the work. Others are being allowed to fabricate their own jobs. Too many managers/people blocking those trying to achieve anything. Culture is a blocking culture, not a facilitating culture, meaning profit is impossible. All in the name of patient safety, which has rolled out into far more than just patient safety from a culture perspective. There is too much inaction. The management are allowing the site to sleepwalk into an inevitable disaster. In the meantime, you can play rounders all afternoon, paint Christmas baubles, attend 'cafe' events during working hours, charge your car for free, drink as much expensive coffee as you can, and the latest one, do giant jigsaws instead of helping the site turnaround. It beggars belief. Unclear how the new building can turn the profit required to turn the site around when only one stream is being brought on line imminently. With depreciation on the new buildings, it's impossible to see how your current plan will claw us out of the mess you've allowed to happen.

Pros

Flexibility with home/work life. Good benefits and pay. Good entry level jobs that can offer experience to people new to the field. Has potential to grow and funnel resources to places where its needed most.

Cons

Bad workplace environment. Toxic work culture. Lack of necessary competent training within departments. Not holding low performers accountable. Sense that people don't know much and are afraid to speak up. Lack of mentorship which goes hand in hand with training and experience and development of skills and career goals. Systemic issues run rapid at this site. High turnover and employee dissatisfaction. Many people leave with bad impression of the company and how things are run which ruins internal moral and desire to do the right things.
