Pros

Stable work, salary and benefits as a contractor

Cons

While the business was ICC, the contractors were better served by the inner office. They had full-time contractor advocates that made sure we were taken care of and we had clear career growth strategies. However, when the business re-branded to G2o, everything went downhill. The business became profit-oriented to everyone’s detriment, salaries got cut and contractor advocates were eliminated. If you don’t mind being a permanent staff-aug position with no support, then this is ‘fine’, but if you are looking for a higher salary and career growth, this isn’t the place to stay.

Pros

Very friendly and engaged coworkers, with many opportunities to work on a wide range of projects in various industries.

Cons

Smaller company, so you may need to work on things you'd expect to be outside of your job description.

Pros

Pretty decent pay for software consulting. Pockets of the company have fun people and culture.

Cons

Benefits are largely underwhelming. Lots of middle managers that tamper and gatekeep client access and are very worried about who gets credit. Ultimately yes men to the client versus standing by their people for hard conversations and recommendations. It masks itself but largely another staff augmentation group that runs on the billables with a lot of leadership and management mooching hours.
