Pros

The work enviromnent is good, the site offers many perks and ammenities to employees including multiple cafeterias, coffee shops and convenience stores. Everyone from management down works in a cubicle type environment, you will receive your own cubicle and computer. Pay raises are usually given anually unless the company feels the economy pushes them into a raise freeze, this happened in 2009. The client environment is a little intimidating at first but GP employees generally work together in a small group so it doesn't take long to feel comfortable.

Cons

It is like working for a small company as you work on contract for a customer at their site. Therefore there is little room for advancement or growth unless new clients are acquired which is rare. Management remains stagnant and follows a do as I say not as I do policy. They are strict with hourly employees arriving on time and not missing work but follow a more flexible schedule themselves which has led to some frustration and resentment. At the main site there is a 3/4 mile walk from the parking lot to the office, which has no windows. You are expected to work your walk time into your commute and arrive at your desk at your appointed work time.

Pros

Great studio Nice workflow by the time the work came to us , we were left to create the video...with minimal interference gave a lot of new college grads a chance to work and create Subject matter experts (Dave and Greg) were always ready to answer technical questions...if they did not know the answer would find out Adam Stedman (then CEO) told me I was "intimidating" so that was fun I am usually called "nice...or a hard worker"

Cons

Covid turned WFH into PTO for some full timers (GP and Client) video training lost steam company purchased by a large holding company "this is going to be great"...they say then the cuts came client closed the studio we were collateral damage it was a fun gig stars below reflect part time no bennies so I could not score higher work/life video production is any 7 any hour it is what it is
