Pros

good pay - and if you never want to be bothered by management, this is the place for you.

Cons

Highly disorganized favorites club - only a handful of favorites receive coaching and opportunities. After working there for nearly 1 year I was surprised to learn that managers were to be evaluating their direct reports. After speaking to other members of my team, I found I wasn't the only one surprised. None of us had ever had 1-on-1 sessions with our manager; and later learned that there were those who did, and coincidentally it was those who also went out drinking with management, who ended up in higher positions within the company. When I asked for a manager meeting I was told I was doing a great job. I had never heard that before. Either you are a drinking buddy, really good suck-up or just a cog in the wheel. A lot of those cogs are talented and hard-working. What a waste.

Pros

Great studio Nice workflow by the time the work came to us , we were left to create the video...with minimal interference gave a lot of new college grads a chance to work and create Subject matter experts (Dave and Greg) were always ready to answer technical questions...if they did not know the answer would find out Adam Stedman (then CEO) told me I was "intimidating" so that was fun I am usually called "nice...or a hard worker"

Cons

Covid turned WFH into PTO for some full timers (GP and Client) video training lost steam company purchased by a large holding company "this is going to be great"...they say then the cuts came client closed the studio we were collateral damage it was a fun gig stars below reflect part time no bennies so I could not score higher work/life video production is any 7 any hour it is what it is
