Pros

Florida is lovely throughout the year since there is no work from home and you have to be in the office full time. It is possible to learn a lot here. Even if that is what you don't want for the future. The compensation seems valuable at first until you realize exactly how you were ruining your soul getting it.

Cons

The entire company is a facade. When they recruit you then you meet with everyone that is happy. But in reality 95% of the company is not happy. they are just picking and choosing the specific people that happened to be happy at that moment for you to meet. If you go for an interview actually walk up to people and take them outside and ask them their opinion of being there. You will get a very different response. The owner and the entire executive team care about one thing and one thing only: themselves. now you could say that about any organization really, but here they don't care about you as a human being. they care about you as a bag of flesh that they can use to exploit for as long as possible to increase their bottom line and profitability. That is not an over exaggeration. do not expect work life balance. do not expect leaving on time or even potentially getting weekends. things that you would expect in other organizations like getting time off when you actually need it, more likely they will approve the time off and then just fire you days before you leave. This has happened, this will happen again. in their minds, you are 100% replaceable. now if you don't care about that then this is a great organization for you and you should absolutely come work here.

GRUBBRR Response

Response from Sam Zietz, CEO: Thank you for taking the time to review Grubbrr; we value your feedback. As a start-up, we want everyone to succeed individually as that is the only way for Grubbrr to succeed as a whole. It is certainly not our position that anyone is replaceable and Grubbrr does everything possible to retain talent including coaching, guidance, and additional training when appropriate. Work-life balance is becoming more and more important at Grubbrr. For this reason, in May 2022 we expanded the amount of PTO each employee receives per year as well as additional Flex Days that are given every year with no need to accrue the time. Each employee is encouraged to take both their PTO and Flex Days and we have regular company-wide communications encouraging the use of such days. Grubbrr also has an open-door policy and solicits employee views regularly via many methods, including truly anonymous surveys. Employee satisfaction and engagement have taken precedence this calendar year and will continue to be at the forefront of Grubbrr’s initiatives. We hope you will join us at our upcoming company-sponsored employee events as they are an opportunity for all employees, including those at the executive level, to interact with each other in a relaxed way outside of work. Our event this month will be a mini-golf outing. As a start-up, it is true we work hard, but if you find yourself without evenings and/or weekends because of your workload, please talk to your manager and/or HR so that we may find a solution. We are dedicated to our employees and are proud to have proactively brought on an HR Generalist early this calendar year to help guide and support employee-centered initiatives. Thank you again, Sam Zietz, CEO

Pros

There are a few good people there

Cons

The company is a toxic nightmare. No leadership or direction whatsoever. Employees are leaving all the time. It’s a revolving door on the executive side as well. It’s difficult to believe anything leadership says when the whole operation is sketchy. I would avoid this place like the plague. No future and a breeding ground for stress and aggravation.
