The entire company is a facade. When they recruit you then you meet with everyone that is happy. But in reality 95% of the company is not happy. they are just picking and choosing the specific people that happened to be happy at that moment for you to meet. If you go for an interview actually walk up to people and take them outside and ask them their opinion of being there. You will get a very different response.
The owner and the entire executive team care about one thing and one thing only: themselves.
now you could say that about any organization really, but here they don't care about you as a human being. they care about you as a bag of flesh that they can use to exploit for as long as possible to increase their bottom line and profitability. That is not an over exaggeration. do not expect work life balance. do not expect leaving on time or even potentially getting weekends.
things that you would expect in other organizations like getting time off when you actually need it, more likely they will approve the time off and then just fire you days before you leave. This has happened, this will happen again. in their minds, you are 100% replaceable. now if you don't care about that then this is a great organization for you and you should absolutely come work here.
