Making Changes, They're Not Enough

The actual people are great, and by people, I mean 0 management

You will never be respected or truly appreciated by management. It doesn't matter how long you stay with the company, how many late nights you pull to meet deadlines, how many projects you complete, or how much you contribute. Everyone joins with a positive attitude, recruiters will lie to you about the office culture, the opportunities for growth, and even the daily responsibilities of your role. And inevitably, everyone comes to learn the same dismal thing: how toxic and sad of a work environment GRUBBRR really is. Management has been "making changes/improvements" for years now. The problems are not going away. Anyone that tries to make a difference here is chomped up and spit out. If I wasn't afraid of being identified from this post, there'd be much more detail to the offenses. But GRUBBRR likes to foster a cutthroat work culture where no one feels comfortable expressing themselves. Please pay attention to the negative Glassdoor reviews. They are here for a reason. Do not join this company. And if you don't believe me, message a few employees on LinkedIn. You'll get the truth.

Employee, We apologize that you don’t feel respected or appreciated by GRUBBRR. We recognize how critical our employees are and we strive to foster an inclusive and respectful environment. Every company has its challenges and GRUBBRR is no different - but we are in fact taking steps to enhance our culture and environment. We also understand that the startup environment is not for everyone and at times it can be challenging. It is fast-moving, demanding and fluid. We do offer multiple channels for employees to provide feedback and recommendations, including our Employee Resource Committee and Employee Surveys (which are anonymous). You are also welcome to talk to HR or your manager about any of your concerns. We do welcome and want feedback and have reiterated that at our company town halls and messaging over the past several months. Thanks, GRUBBRR

DON'T EVER WORK HERE!!!!

Pros

The OPS team that Leda Goulette is the PM of. Everyone in that department is wonderful. Besides that there are ZERO PROS!!!

Cons

There are so many cons that I don't even know where to begin. Below are few reasons why I quite. 1. when i first started they never told us we would be working every weekend, being on call and not getting paid for it. 2. Working with the CEO Bhavin is like talking to a walk. He will always think you don't how to do something when in reality his software is terrible. 3. Grubbrr is ran by women, but we will never get any of that recognition. they don't give women raises, but will give all the men one for take credit for our hard work and give them raises. 4. Deadline will never be met for a merchant because the software is and will always be unstable. 5. Walking into this place you feel like someone just died. No one laughs, someone is always yelling at ops/tech support they we didn't do a good job 6. If you go above and beyond (no matter how many times) you will never be recognized 7. Working for Grubbrr means you no longer have a life. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WORKING even if you take PTO. They do not care!!! 8. Going to a town hall and the CEOS telling everyone to they are replaceable was the wake up call for everyone to leave. If you don't value us why should we still want to work there? I COULE GO ON FOREVER about this place. I'm sure even when this is posted they wont care. They will have someone write a fake post about how great Grubbrr is like they've been doing.

ZERO. There is nothing great about this company.

Cons

Poor Management and over worked. Sam the CEO thinks he knows it all. Good luck if he remembers your name. The CTO Bhavin is a complete mess. He has no idea what he is doing and he has imagination of things getting done quickly. The yelling and not being appreciated is their best traits. Bringing in Stars like Robert Irvine or having the CEO on multiple channels makes nothing better. Treat people nicely. Your company runs because of them. You may min salary and make people work long hours. Upper management is in never never land pushing high end products that don't last. Its all in their favor to push what they like without the customers needs. Poor communication and lack of respect. Look at all the other reviews before this. There is no one in this office that will appreciate you. As long as the CEO and CTO are pocketing money, its all at your expense. Cheap labor and over worked to fill their ego's and pockets with 6 figure salaries.
