Pros
Pretty much everyone who works at Galois is one of the smartest people that you'll ever meet. They're all very passionate about what they do, which is security research. It's as close as you can come to working in an academic department while still being a real company. Everyone is super nice, and it's a very family friendly environment. It's very common for people to bring their spouses and kids into the office for lunch.
Cons
Their main customers are in the DC area, but most of the really interesting work takes place in the Portland, OR office. It means a lot of travel if you're in Portland, or a lot of telecoms if you're in DC.
