Most of the people here are incredibly smart, friendly, patient, and eager to help. The work is generally interesting if you're into the automotive industry. Standard health and retirement benefits. Coffee and free snacks are decent.
Cons
GT used to be a great place to work, but a lot has changed. Senior management appears to be asleep at the wheel and unresponsive to feedback. Focus has shifted from product quality to profits. Much of the top talent has walked out the door in the past 2 years out of frustration, including many with 10+ years of tenure, leading to major brain drain in every team. Large pay inequalities between people of similar level and experience. Toxic gossip culture, particularly among the "back office" staff, largely driven by lack of transparency in policies and communications.
