It's not a pure IT company as they're 100% in Retail business
1. There's always shuffling happening at the higher management and you'll always be at the receiving end. Bcz. new mgmnt. brings-in new changes and you've to oblige. As we don't have a choice to say anything.
2. If you're good at politics then you can survive and get promoted. Otherwise forget it and keep doing your daily work
3. Not a flexible working environment. You'll will always juggle between work-life points like a pendulum.
4. Upper mgmnt. is a joke and some of them are totally useless. May be got promoted due to favouritism.
5. Most of their own employees in IT dept. will not work. Rather will push the work to contractors and will just manage them.
6. Whenever their sales goes down or upper mgmnt. changes then first thing they will always do is "Fire the contractors".No matter how good they're. Then will ask you to complete the project with limited resources. Isn't it a joke.....
7. If you're employee then you're good. If not, and a contractor then your life will be a hell. Not an ideal company for a contractor. They will always try to push the stuff to you. Good luck, if you're a contractor. As your cycle of sleepless nights are just going to being.
8. If you're an IT person then better look for some other company
9. Technology focus keeps on changing. So hard to maintain the rhythm.
10. There offshore offc. is also a big joke. They are running their own company within a company. Very very tough to co-ordinate with the folks over there. This to the fact that we'll are serving t the same company. Another big joke
