      Pros

      Working on the devices and/or mobile applications is very rewarding because you know that what you're doing will go into the hands of a lot of people.

      Cons

      From my friends that worked in testing aircraft software, they said the mod tests using C was pretty boring (but it's work that needs to get done). Working in a closed office without windows is not for everyone.

      Nice headquarters, good people, fun atmosphere.

      Cons

      Questionable C-Suite directives/policies. A lot of bureaucracy, and it's difficult to move new ideas forward.

      Mostly interesting engineering work Good work-life balance and managers who understand schedules Decent benefits package (especially 401K)

      Little opportunity for remote work Compensation is not competitive compared to engineering roles elsewhere Easy to stagnate if your manager is not advocating for you or setting proper expectations Promotion decisions are not transparent Internal transfers are difficult and uncommon Company growth has created excessive bureaucracy Individual responsibility is becoming less clear as the company rapidly grows
