Pros
Easy entrance, plentiful on the job training opportunities, lots of experience both in retail/customer service and computer repairs.
Cons
Managers outside of the precinct frequently have no idea what's going on in the precinct or what to do about computers, nor should they. Unfortunately, for customer issues regarding a manager they're the only ones we can call in besides our DCI. Frequently, MOD issues solved by anyone besides our DCI are solved unrealistically or unsatisfactorily, as they don't know what to do with our customers. Pay is crappy. That's to be expected. If Best Buy paid every agent fairly, Geek Squad wouldn't be a supportable brand.
