Pros

The camaraderie amongst the team is outstanding. Most of management (team leads, supervisors, etc) truly do care and go above and beyond to help you grow. There is plenty of real world knowledge to gain through your first few weeks of training. You garner an amazing sense of accomplishment during some aspects of the job.

Cons

It's a 24/7 department so expect to work some holidays and weekends. The company will use their ideals of growth and development from within to lure you into a false sense of motivation. In my experiences, the company only promotes within for *certain* departments or people with *certain* skillsets. They will assign you more and more responsibilties as you progress through products and training, but your pay only increases slightly at the end of each year or after a promotion in the department (which can only happen if you take on much more responsibility). They say they want to help you grow and develop, but there are so many employees assigned to each team lead and supervisor that it's overwhelming and most employees end up stagnant or leaving. Pay is slightly below national average but has increased since I started.

Pros

No background checks. Good for people needing a job quickly.

Cons

Where to start? Poor leadership on all levels. A bunch of talk about quality and the customer but are happy pushing out inferior product and dealing with it later, but then blame all the workers (via no quarterly bonus due to impossible metrics they have little/ no control over) instead of correcting the workers responsible. They are SO CHEAP. Cheap in pay, cheap in providing what employees need in a timely manner or if ever, cheap in benefits, cheap all the way around. They want drones, not humans. Very high turnover rate. A lot of promises and little follow up. If you sign up for the annual company picnic and cant make it, they take money directly out of your check for each person signed up to go. Poor training. Reactive, not proactive.
