Pros

Vertical Integration from circuit board and mechanical components to fully assembled and integrated aircraft and support equipment make for a challenging and interesting environment. Pension, 401k, health plans, time off, other benefits. Company internally funds independent research at a much higher percentage rate than other leading aerospace companies. The company has many dedicated and innovative employees. Being a private company has allowed for long term planning and directiin without being misdirected by stockholder concerns.

Cons

You need to have an Engineering degree or hard science BS to be considered for an Engineering position. The company is competing against larger competitors.

Pros

Managers are very supportive and foster growth while challenging you. Semi flexible schedule - can come in early or stay late to meet required hours. Decent pay, tuition reimbursement, 401k matching, Mentorship opportunities

Cons

Leadership tends to get ahead of themselves with potential large contracts. Begin to invest a lot of time and money prior to contracts being awarded. Could be more clear on company goals and mission. Limited salary increase when changing roles.
