The work environment is generally supportive, and I have found my colleagues to be collaborative and helpful. The hybrid work model provides good flexibility for managing personal time. Additionally, there are many internal training resources and opportunities to gain deep regional experience in Record-to-Report (RTR) processes.
Cons
Career progression can feel slow, with limited promotion opportunities even after several years of service. There is also a culture of micromanagement in some projects, specifically regarding strict time-tracking for every task. Lastly, salary increments do not always keep pace with the current market standards for senior accounting roles in Malaysia.
