Fun market but poor executive treatment - Social Media Coordinator Gerber Childrenswear Employee Review

Gerber is a relatively small company with such kind and hard-working people. Many have been with the company for 20+ years, with new and experienced talent coming in. The brand is fun to work for, the work is interesting, and the compensation is fair (with a hybrid work model).

None so far, people are kind and work is interesting.

There were no benefits that I can name.... if i must, the studio has a cyc wall.

Communication between the departments was lacking. There were always differing accounts of what was expected of me behind closed doors versus in front of other leadership. Overall, I would not advise a fellow creative to work here. There are more supportive corporate structures to work for. If you are a well educated, trained photographer - be prepared to be challenged - and not from a growth mindset, but from a control mindset. Building is old and benefits are also lacking as compared to other retail corporate structures.
