The company regularly asks for feedback to improve the culture and the experience of working here. -Very generous with time off/holidays -The company has and continues to move in the direction of offering employees the benefits of working for a corporation vs the typical experience of working for an educational institution.

As long as you're someone reasonably driven to do quality work, I cannot think of any reason that should deter a person from wanting to work here.

The students and some of the other staff are wonderful and nice to work with.

Management is incredibly petty and immature, no professionalism and they treat the paraprofessionals as if they were children as well. Even if you work full time they find loop holes to pay you less than minimum wage unless you get one of the limited teacher’s assistants position or higher up. Discriminatory towards disabled employees and anyone in a non management position. They blatantly ignore clear abuse cases and violate both laws and internal policies as long as it makes them more money. High employment turnover, Gersh is chronically understaffed and puts their employees at higher risk due to no real support. Crisis management team consists of two people for the entire school, so expect to be the one physically intervening in 99.9% of the time. If you try to fix or change things you will be the one being persecuted and they’ll make your life hell until eventually firing you for policies that did not exist until that moment or you quit. They will encourage and pressure staff to violate laws instead of properly training them. Constantly changing policies and protocols, then never giving proper training on those. The school is run like a business where shareholders are the ones dictating what the company does.
