Pros
-Great people (everyone is super friendly and there is a big mix of different cultures and ethnicities) -Lots of free chocolate -Fun onboarding process ...Did I mention free chocolate
Cons
-There seems to be a lot of turnover which means that a lot of people are doing more than one job for an extended period of time until someone is hired, if someone is hired -Very low pay, especially for the Bay Area -I am not sure about all departments but the one I work in is very unorganized. It could be because we are understaffed but for an organization that has been around for so long I expected processes and procedures to be better than what it would be at a startup company -I enjoyed the onboarding process but felt it lacked practical knowledge needed for working here (how parking works, information on benefits, how the fitness program works, etc.) -In addition to a more practical onboarding, the setting up and execution of benefits was very lacking. It could just be one instance but everything was a lot harder than it should be and it could be because of the separation of HR and payroll but this should really be addressed. -During the hiring process they really talk up the bonus but after being here I come to find out that you only get it based on if the company meets certain targets.
