Easy tusks. Not for long term to work. You will make great friends.

Cons

Not much raise or bonus. Whoever gets hired gets more $ than people who’s been working longer. Benefit is minimal and company medical is pretty expensive.

Thank you for your years of service and sharing about the friendships you made while you were at Gibson. Gibson offers raises and a discretionary bonus annually. This is actually a very generous practice. The job market is always changing. To hire new team members we have to offer market-based compensation. We are very careful about maintaining equity within work groups at Gibson. We always go through an equity analysis prior to making an offer to avoid such things as you mentioned (new hires being paid more than tenured team members). That remains a work in progress and something we keep our eye on.

Pros

I arrived at Gibson in 2017 and since then I've met some great wonderful people here! If you are a good employee and are serious about doing the job and wanting to grow, doors and opportunity will open for you. I have been in 3 different departments here and learned so much in each of them! I am very happy in my current position and look forward to staying with Gibson for many years to come!

Cons

Only thing I can think of is: I wish there was more natural light coming in inside the office, but I understand this is a big building and isn't always possible. You can always use your 15 min break to step outside and get some nice sun and take a fresh breath.

From Christmas parties to lunches and raffles celebrating other holidays Gibson makes you feel like not just an employee but part of the "Gibson Family". They appreciate the work you do and reward good job performances with annual salary increases and bonuses.
