Pros

Nice to have summers off, if you can afford no paycheck for 3 months.

Cons

Support from district office not there for the people who do the actual job. Little training for jobs. No one to fill in if someone out long term. Coworkers expected to do their full tme job and cover for person who may be out long term.

I absolutely loved my school, but I had to leave because I just wasn't paid enough with the rising cost of living in Gilbert. They did get a raise after I left, but it still wasn't enough. I have never had a school culture as good as FFE. The parents, students, and principal (has since left), were all amazing to work with.

Cons

GPS is a very large district. I didn't feel valued by the district. I felt VERY valued by my school though. I went to a much smaller school district, and feel more seen.
