Great team to work with, student body is wonderful and well behaved, class sizes are on the larger side, but still manageable

Cons

Compensation is not competitive with other nearby districts, school board does is controversial and confrontational, many teachers are leaving for other districts

I absolutely loved my school, but I had to leave because I just wasn't paid enough with the rising cost of living in Gilbert. They did get a raise after I left, but it still wasn't enough. I have never had a school culture as good as FFE. The parents, students, and principal (has since left), were all amazing to work with.

Cons

GPS is a very large district. I didn't feel valued by the district. I felt VERY valued by my school though. I went to a much smaller school district, and feel more seen.
