I like the job because it allows me to have flexible schedule. I can choose to take the assignment or not. I can choose whatever grade and subjects to teach. Plus I don't have any after school work. It works perfect for me.

Cons

I don't get paid well and I don't have any benefits.

I absolutely loved my school, but I had to leave because I just wasn't paid enough with the rising cost of living in Gilbert. They did get a raise after I left, but it still wasn't enough. I have never had a school culture as good as FFE. The parents, students, and principal (has since left), were all amazing to work with.

Cons

GPS is a very large district. I didn't feel valued by the district. I felt VERY valued by my school though. I went to a much smaller school district, and feel more seen.
