Comparable salary to other districts, a lot of PD offerings to meet re-certification needs.

Cons

It's education so growth means add more work and don't provide compensation. Not a district problem, an education problem especially when you have communities that do not support overrides.

I absolutely loved my school, but I had to leave because I just wasn't paid enough with the rising cost of living in Gilbert. They did get a raise after I left, but it still wasn't enough. I have never had a school culture as good as FFE. The parents, students, and principal (has since left), were all amazing to work with.

Cons

GPS is a very large district. I didn't feel valued by the district. I felt VERY valued by my school though. I went to a much smaller school district, and feel more seen.
