- Decent first role to learn about life science industry - Line managers and other staff very reasonable people - Good end of year Christmas party - Get to work on topical subjects
Cons
- Limited chance of career progression unless you stay for about a decade - Because the majority of staff at the company have been there for the majority of their career, there was a ceiling on the level of expertise on the role, and therefore a ceiling on what could be learned. - It does not pay well and your work is subject to the whims of the larger organisation.
