Excellent salary (especially for recent grads) Opportunity to travel for conference reporting etc. Friendly colleagues at the junior level Team is diverse
Cons
Harsh management (criticism is demoralising rather than constructive) Very 'American' work culture (blunt communication, high pressure to meet targets) Healthcare journalism team is not well integrated within GlobalData (basically, no one knows who they are) Lack of overall team spirit despite small size of team Lack of flexibility (management were forced to let junior reporters work from home due to the pandemic but otherwise would not allow it)
