There is a tightly knit 'inner circle' of friends of the CEO who are put into executive positions regardless of competence. There is a ping-pong and pool table for show, but you will be yelled at for using either. Attempts at legitimate innovation are stifled for copycat products. Employees are given TWO WEEKS VACATION FOR THE FIRST FIVE YEARS. No increase until five years. For a public company employing professional workers that is unforgivable. For a woman giving birth, the amount of paid time off is the legal minimum. 2 days. After that, time off is on you. The amount of time that the pittance of a 401(k) contribution vests is as slow as is allowed under federal law.
