Pros

The product is really strong. Benefits were good.

Cons

1. New people brought on to the executive/leadership team felt inexperienced. 2. Leadership treated employees as disposable -- and I felt kept in the dark. 3. As other reviews mentioned, the merger with Device Magic was a "partnership" but led to layoffs. Communication was never fully clear about the two teams. 4. Turnover felt high to me. 5. Gaslighting on the team, internally and on Glassdoor. Even the responses here sound passive aggressive ("Sorry to hear you couldn't handle the challenges of a fast-growing company" and/or "Working hard isn't for everyone, sounds like you burned out." Geez, no wonder turnover is high. Won't be shocked if the reply to my review sounds similar to this: "Sorry this company didn't meet your unrealistic expectations but weekly employee quizzes we force the team to complete indicate that some enjoy opaque silos. If this was a problem we wish you would have brought it to our attention where we would have promptly ignored the chance to self-reflect."

I'm not sure how to respond to your review, authenticity and empathy are two of our core values, and they have been from the very beginning, so I'm going to lead with those. I am sorry for any of the occasions that my responses have read as passive-aggressive, that is sincerely not the intent. When responses seem to show the other side of the coin, the intent is not to invalidate the perspectives expressed, but to share with the Glassdoor community the full picture, so that they can make an informed decision about our culture and business. These reviews are looked over with the VP of People regularly and are discussed at the C-suite level as well as by the people team. I can assure you that many have sparked discussion and reflection. At the risk of playing into your artfully cheeky review (which I appreciated as #cheeky is a value of ours too) I want to say that we are happy with our current executive team - they are all experts in their own right, are backed by a stellar board, and are operating well as a team. If you felt kept in the dark I am certain it was unintentional, as we share our results and strategies with the whole team in allhands and the leaders are looped in on OKR meetings in addition to that. Anyhow, we do wish you all the best, and are sorry that you had a less than ideal experience with us.

Pros

Flexible PTO (though this is changing). Work-life balance was decent, especially earlier on. My customers were the best part of the role, and I genuinely felt for them as they navigated a significant amount of organizational change.

Cons

I stayed longer than I probably should have because the strongest parts of my experience were early on. After the acquisition, the culture shifted enough that many people started reevaluating their time here. It became more process-heavy, less transparent, and much more rigid than before. Management experiences varied widely. At one point, I went months without a clear direct manager or consistent point of contact, which created confusion around ownership and expectations.
