Pros

Very fun place to work. Wonderful environment. The environment is professional, but allows you to have a truly great time while you're at work. Very extensive training. The training is months long and they really prepare you for the job you will be doing when you are out on the floor. Great opportunity for advancement, that is if you are meeting their ever so important sales. An evergrowing company. Have constantly been hiring even during the recession. Almost overcrowded.

Cons

Corporate Greed at its finest. So obsessed with sales that they will overlook how long you've been at the company, how much more knowledge you possess over the newbies, and what other qualities one possesses which could benefit the company. Sales matter when it comes to moving up, even if the job you wish to go to has nothing to do with sales(which most don't). Management became increasingly anal about breaks and lunches. There are metrics to make sure you're on the phone a certain amount of time, but it does not matter if you meet or exceed this because they will analyze every lunch/break you take and just LOOK for reasons to write people up. An extreme overemphasis on irrelevant metrics makes moving up very difficult. For as much money as that company makes, the offices are pretty dreadful. They were recently updated, but they are all pretty cramped and dirty.

Pros

Great benefits, cool people (not including leadership)

Cons

- You'll be worked like a slave, told when you can take your breaks and lunches. - Boy's Club. If you're in it, you can get away with lying to customers, breaking company policy, and basically whatever you want. If you're not part of it, watch your back, you'll be hyper-scrutinized for every action you take. - Commissions are capped, so top performers are limited. - This is not a true sales job, you are taking inbound customer service calls and will be expected to do technical support and deal with escalated inbound customers. - Much of the job has been outsourced to a Business Partner Organization (BPO) in the Philippines. Because they aren't true GoDaddy employees, they are allowed to operate like the wild wild west. Lying to customers, selling them duplicate products, deleting things from their accounts and reselling them the same product. Basically a complete legal nightmare... but you aren't allowed to complain about it and you are expected to fix all the problems they create.
