Pros

Great culture, fair compensation, driven environment, laid back yet successful, embraces individuality, focuses on internal development, self-aware CEO and SLT, open-minded and growth-focused. Any job I can wear shorts and a t-shirt, yet still work on impact-producing projects without discrimination is a win-win in Phoenix.

Cons

Some departments don't disseminate a roadmap with clear mile markers. Like many companies, mediocrity is somewhat institutionally accepted. While successful, the talent in this company sometimes doesn't operate at full capacity which would drive even better results.

Thanks for leaving a response, we are always looking for a better ways to improve our culture and keep things positive for our employees. Roadmaps are difficult to navigate at times, as we have so many different initiatives in flight at the same time. We are always looking for for ways to better transparency on who is working on what, and more importantly, the why. I would also love to learn more around the perception that we can push harder to exceed the status quo. Feel free to reach out and I’d love to work through some of your thoughts.

Pros

Great benefits, cool people (not including leadership)

Cons

- You'll be worked like a slave, told when you can take your breaks and lunches. - Boy's Club. If you're in it, you can get away with lying to customers, breaking company policy, and basically whatever you want. If you're not part of it, watch your back, you'll be hyper-scrutinized for every action you take. - Commissions are capped, so top performers are limited. - This is not a true sales job, you are taking inbound customer service calls and will be expected to do technical support and deal with escalated inbound customers. - Much of the job has been outsourced to a Business Partner Organization (BPO) in the Philippines. Because they aren't true GoDaddy employees, they are allowed to operate like the wild wild west. Lying to customers, selling them duplicate products, deleting things from their accounts and reselling them the same product. Basically a complete legal nightmare... but you aren't allowed to complain about it and you are expected to fix all the problems they create.
