Pros

Good industry and pay. Customer base is a blessing.

Cons

Looking at other reviews about WOW scores ought to tell someone something. 130% new contribution, 9.6 CSS on 65 surverys, yet my WOW is 63%. Love the positive punishment. As well trying to sell on accounts with 1 domain and no clue. Either turn on Alexa and cut us loose or let is be consultants who think long term about the customer base. We understand how much debt gddy carries, but there are smarter ways to service the debt than jamming customers.

Thank you for the feedback. To bring clarity to our Wow evaluation in comparison to customer satisfaction scores (CSS), the difference is the outcome we know versus a perceived experience. What we review with our wow criteria is the long-term outcome of the interaction. For example, a customer that feels like they got great service will typically respond with a favorable score (CSS), but if we monitor the call and know that the customer will have to call back in to get their issue resolved, the Wow score is low. It's the long term experience of our customers that really matters when we consider quality versus an in-the-moment response.

Pros

Great benefits, cool people (not including leadership)

Cons

- You'll be worked like a slave, told when you can take your breaks and lunches. - Boy's Club. If you're in it, you can get away with lying to customers, breaking company policy, and basically whatever you want. If you're not part of it, watch your back, you'll be hyper-scrutinized for every action you take. - Commissions are capped, so top performers are limited. - This is not a true sales job, you are taking inbound customer service calls and will be expected to do technical support and deal with escalated inbound customers. - Much of the job has been outsourced to a Business Partner Organization (BPO) in the Philippines. Because they aren't true GoDaddy employees, they are allowed to operate like the wild wild west. Lying to customers, selling them duplicate products, deleting things from their accounts and reselling them the same product. Basically a complete legal nightmare... but you aren't allowed to complain about it and you are expected to fix all the problems they create.
