Pros

Working on a product that genuinely helps people is incredibly motivating, and that shared mission really comes through in the culture. People here care about what they’re building, which makes it easier to push through challenges and ship meaningful work. The culture is fun and positive, and there are a lot of great people with different interests to connect with. It also feels like the company is very focused right now, with teams aligned and making real progress each quarter. As an engineer, I feel like my input matters and that I have strong ownership over what I work on. There’s a clear openness to innovation, especially around AI and new tools, and not much red tape, which makes it easy to collaborate and move quickly across teams.

Cons

Because the company moves quickly and stays focused on what matters most, priorities can shift and projects may get reprioritized. It helps to be adaptable and comfortable refocusing your work as priorities evolve.

Pros

- Lots of opportunities to learn and grow - Getting to use my skills towards efforts that help everyday people - Leadership is very receptive to engineering, and ensuring that we have a good work/life balance - Grassroots AI adoption, allowing teams to explore and prove out new workflows based on our pain points. This enables teams to learn the how and why around using these tools, and gives an opportunity to share those learnings with other teams - Empathetic and evidence-based AI adoption, with a healthy dose of skepticism to ensure we're making the right choices - The amount of extremely smart and skilled people spread across teams means that there's always something I can learn from just about any interaction

Cons

- The downside of grassroots AI adoption is that some teams leverage the tool differently than others, or different stacks entirely - With the number of initiatives executed in parallel, it can be easy to get lost in the work
