Pros

They were able to provide the bare minimum by paying people on time.

Cons

- Employees are often asked to do things outside of their job description under the guise of the "all duties as assigned" clause in the job description even if it is not part of your department. - There is discrimination of against age from higher management and certain perks like tuition reimbursement are only granted to "people who are going to stay for a while" and not to millenials because "they only stick around for a year or two anyway" despite if you meet qualifications. - While employees are able to apply for work, promotions are only possible if you move. They have things called "tier raises", but there are so many budget shortages and hiring freezes that the company never has the money to actually give you a raise on time, let alone assure you that you will get one. - VP worked remotely during Covid19 for not going more than two days without a cough despite being self quarantined for almost a month and a half. - Employees were asked to keep symptoms quiet during Covid19 and management and directors would meet their employees with tension if they were uncomfortable accepting donations despite Donor Services not being the department they are employed under. - Management has been known to alter timesheets over the weekend when employees don't know in order to not pay employees overtime. - Mileage reimbursement never arrives on time even after months of it being approved. - Management is not above send employees emailed outlines as to why they don't believe their employees have work to do. - Management in Career Services is very hands off and doesn't actually manage. - Gossip culture is really bad - Company uses Kaiser Permanente as their healthcare provider and it's only good if you don't have a chronic illness or if you can afford to shell out $600-$800 a month for coverage. - They are about 10k below the average market wage for their employees.

Cons

The entire corporate office is beyond ignorant. Completely out of touch with reality, price gouging customers trying to raise profit margins for the non profit. Everyday at any second one call from corporate and there is a change to how everything has to be done, usually causing more issues only to blame people who had nothing to do with their ideas. They don't let the store manager be a store manager.. in fact, I'll sum up everything you need to know in one sentence.. they went as far as to install systems to remotely control the thermostat from their comfy corporate office. Imagine not just the employees but the customers constantly complaining. That is how out of touch with reality they all are.
