Pros

The mission is to help people enter the workforce, in spite of disabilities, lack of opportunity, lack of education, incarceration or other roadblocks. What's not to love? They do their best to treat employees fairly.

Cons

This is an organization that just can't get anything done. When you interview you'll hear about "quality of life". That's code for we don't actually do anything and you won't be held accountable for anything. The technology platform is years out of date and there are few automated or documented processes. You will spend your time trying to figure out how to get anything done. The long tenured employees and managers hold the institutional knowledge and they don't like to share it.

Pros

Great pay, good team, flexibility and decent work

Cons

Dusty sometimes and some of the stuff can be gross but that's just part of working at a thrift store, having to handle that stuff

Pros

There is not a single "pro" to be listed.

Cons

The entire corporate office is beyond ignorant. Completely out of touch with reality, price gouging customers trying to raise profit margins for the non profit. Everyday at any second one call from corporate and there is a change to how everything has to be done, usually causing more issues only to blame people who had nothing to do with their ideas. They don't let the store manager be a store manager.. in fact, I'll sum up everything you need to know in one sentence.. they went as far as to install systems to remotely control the thermostat from their comfy corporate office. Imagine not just the employees but the customers constantly complaining. That is how out of touch with reality they all are.
