I really liked the co-workers I worked with, the atmosphere, how we helped each other out, and the fun that we had. - Donation Attendant Goodwill Employee Review

Pros

Everyone looks out for you and care about you. They want you to do your best just as they do for themselves. You work hard, but you have a real sense of accomplishment and can have fun when it is a good time. The good news with the Donation Attendant position is that I had at least one sometimes two or more attendants with me on certain days, which made the job easier especially on Saturdays, our busiest day.

Cons

It is very physical so it is good to know this before considering the Donation Attendant position. Sometimes, you have to lift heavy t.v., couches, loveseats, and other heavy items. Also, it involves a lot of multi-tasking so get ready to help several customers at once outside and there are processors that need help on the inside as well with changing the bins out and putting new ones in with the pallet jack and forklift.
