Pros

The minimum wage is appealing at first, and you'll get to meet interesting people. You do get a 50% off discount, but...

Cons

All stores have extremely high turnover, both of entry-level positions and managers. At my store this was the fault of the managers being "yes-men" who were hired and kept on because they represented the company's brand better than they could run the store. We've lost good managers and workers who lost patience with the lack of respect and being asked to cover for people who were allowed to slack off. Furthermore, the "Paid Time Off" they boast about on their website is taken off automatically every time you call out. That's right - sick days are automatically taken out of your PTO. Also, about that 50% discount? You can't use it at the store you work at, and in fact, you are forbidden to shop at the store you work at.

Pros

There is not a single "pro" to be listed.

Cons

The entire corporate office is beyond ignorant. Completely out of touch with reality, price gouging customers trying to raise profit margins for the non profit. Everyday at any second one call from corporate and there is a change to how everything has to be done, usually causing more issues only to blame people who had nothing to do with their ideas. They don't let the store manager be a store manager.. in fact, I'll sum up everything you need to know in one sentence.. they went as far as to install systems to remotely control the thermostat from their comfy corporate office. Imagine not just the employees but the customers constantly complaining. That is how out of touch with reality they all are.
