Pros

Employees band together like family

Cons

High quotas, dirty and hot (no AC) working in the back of the store during extremely hot 100+ degree summer weather, poor raises, no bonus's (they stopped a few years in giving Christmas bonus - now they just order food for an employee party), donations have gone down in quality and they literally expect you to turn trash into treasure that they can sell on the sales floor

There is not a single "pro" to be listed.

Cons

The entire corporate office is beyond ignorant. Completely out of touch with reality, price gouging customers trying to raise profit margins for the non profit. Everyday at any second one call from corporate and there is a change to how everything has to be done, usually causing more issues only to blame people who had nothing to do with their ideas. They don't let the store manager be a store manager.. in fact, I'll sum up everything you need to know in one sentence.. they went as far as to install systems to remotely control the thermostat from their comfy corporate office. Imagine not just the employees but the customers constantly complaining. That is how out of touch with reality they all are.
