Pros
There are processes set up if you want to advance your career, but be ready for mind games and busting your butt in vain. The pay is comparable and even better than other retailers. The hours of operation are suitable for work / life balance. In management, you get every other weekend off. You'll have the ability to lead teams and ensure the store achieves its revenue goals. PTO was nice.
Cons
Every work place has that one individual who seems to get away with the bare minimum. Be cautious of being over-worked, short handed due to call-offs, and team members not pulling their fair share of the work load. There is a huge disconnect between the corporate offices (who create policies and new revenue objectives) and the retail stores. There was constant mis-communication, vendors arriving after business hours. Managers were constantly put in high stress situations while enforcing a Covid Mask Policy.... to the point of being threatened by customers, swore at daily and be-littled or called derogatory names.
