Pros

Know when something good is going on the sales floor

Cons

Upper management makes all the money. I got highest raise of anyone in the store and was a 6% raise. There were people working there for 20+ years and still only got the base pay increase. So disorganized lots of internal strife. Look at tax income of goodwill in your area and see what the higher ups are getting paid. I think the president of the Atlanta stores was making $500,000 a year from a nonprofit but the to make it nonprofit they have to get rid of all the money or use it to buy a new store or supplies so I guess paying high dollar to the bosses covers a good chunk and the rest they can give to people trying to get jobs thru their career center. Jobs which you can't go anywhere or move up.

Pros

There is not a single "pro" to be listed.

Cons

The entire corporate office is beyond ignorant. Completely out of touch with reality, price gouging customers trying to raise profit margins for the non profit. Everyday at any second one call from corporate and there is a change to how everything has to be done, usually causing more issues only to blame people who had nothing to do with their ideas. They don't let the store manager be a store manager.. in fact, I'll sum up everything you need to know in one sentence.. they went as far as to install systems to remotely control the thermostat from their comfy corporate office. Imagine not just the employees but the customers constantly complaining. That is how out of touch with reality they all are.
